Sweet and Spicy Baked Chicken Wings |
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. Chicken Wings (cleaned, washed)
- 4 tbsp. Honey
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp. Ketchup (i used sweet and spicy banana ketchup)
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1/4 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. Sesame Seeds
- Green Onion for garnishing (chopped)
- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- Line a large baking sheet or tray with aluminum foil and spray it with nonstick spray. Set aside.
- Place the chicken wings in a large bowl.
- In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into the chicken wings and mix well.
- Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- After marinating, arrange the wings on to the baking tray, then pour the sauce mixture and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake until the sauce dries.
- Remove the aluminum foil cover and change the oven setting on to broil.
- Broil in low temperature to avoid burning and to caramelize the sauce gradually.
- Turn each wing to even up the caramelization.
- When done, put on a platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onion.
- Serve, share and enjoy!
